Pintura claramente conectada con el tiempo en que vivimos esconde, tras su buscada sobriedad cromática la tensión, la amargura, la ansiedad, la esperanza y el desencanto de una sociedad confusa y crispada, que aparenta una seguridad perdida hace ya mucho tiempo y que busca, sabiendo que es imposible conseguirlo, una nueva y desconocida felicidad. Pintura inteligente. Crónica apasionante y triste de una realidad ensoñada. Pintura de ciudad, sin espacios abiertos, con ruidos estridentes y soledades no buscadas. Pintura de ritmos convulsivos, resultante de una sensibilidad herida y crítica que, sin embargo, ama la vida y hasta ese entorno, vociferante e indiferente a la vez, en el que nutre sus raíces pictóricas. Pintura de hoy, tan alejada de un realismo amable y costumbrista, como de una abstracción lírica y decorativa. Pintura llena de riesgos. Pintura apasionada y viva que alcanza, la difícil belleza de todo lo que se hace con amor.
